What is Thermal Roll? Thermal paper is a special fine paper that is coated with a material formulated to change color when exposed to heat. This coating allows for inkless printing. This is ideal for printing card machine slips which has a life span of 6-8 months, depending on storage. Thermal printers are a lot faster in printing of receipts, so this makes them hugely popular in the retail environment.
